Purchase of raw materials
In the raw materials purchase industry, it’s very important to control the incoming and outgoing goods, which is why in a large number of iron scrap purchases, recycling companies, etc. we assemble a camera system that supervises entering and leaving cars. By connecting the monitoring to the weighing software, we have full weight and photo documentation for each weighing. After automatic data saving in a PC, we can at any time look into the weighing history, create reports of drivers, goods, etc. Large-size LED display makes read the weighing result for both service staff and customers easier. Result preview is avalible for loading and unloading of goods. The most used scales in this industry are the steel scales Tytan and the concrete scales Helios in pit mounted or elevated versions with ramps.
Smaller purchases, often due to the insufficiently large yard or the type of vehicles being weighted, do not require installation of 18 m truck scales. Good and much cheaper alternative for them are steel scales from the Zefir series. They consist of one platform, whose length and width is defined by the customer and are mounted on 4 or 6 load cells. Most often, such weights are used in coal depots or iron scrap purchases.
The Kalisto electronic scales use the electronics of the German company Rhewa. Load cells used for weighbridges are manufactured by Zemic.
The most popular dimensions of these weights are:
- 3 x 2 m
- 4.5 x 2 m
- 6 x 2.5 m
- 7 x 3 m
- 8 x 3 m
The Zefir series scales can have a maximum lifting capacity of up to 30 tons.
